The Hearing Trumpet
by Leonora Carrington
Description
Continuing our celebration of the centennial of surrealism, we will be reading 𝘛𝘩𝘦 𝘏𝘦𝘢𝘳𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘛𝘳𝘶𝘮𝘱𝘦𝘵 by Leonora Carrington next. It will also be interesting to compare it to Breton’s very different voice within surrealism.
A lot of people have already commented how much they love The Hearing Trumpet so it clearly holds a special place for people.
Leonora Carrington’s 𝘛𝘩𝘦 𝘏𝘦𝘢𝘳𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘛𝘳𝘶𝘮𝘱𝘦𝘵 (1974) has been described as the occult twin to Alice in Wonderland and is her most famous novel.
