This major exhibition spans four floors of the historic house at 16 Queensbury Place and features over 100 artworks alongside rare archival materials.
It showcases artists from the mid-19th century to the present day working with hidden knowledge or a mediumistic or visionary focus.β£β£

“. .Drawing on alchemical imagery, esoteric and mystical traditions, the works engage with a connection to the Earth and unseen realms through symbolic imagery, ritual and embodied experience. The starting point is a dream diary entry by Ithell Colquhoun in which she reflects on her animistic beliefs and the Earth’s sacred centres . .” β£

Nature’s Blent, 2025 was made in response to Colquhoun’s Fire & Water, 1941 which is on loan to the college and hangs on the adjacent wall.
Both relate to the alchemical union of opposites and Divine Androgyne.
